Part 4: I Hate Religion

You may have heard some Christian say something like, ‘Being a Christian is not about a religion, it’s about a relationship’. In one sense, that is exactly correct. However, it all depends on your definition of “religion”. It certainly seems all negative potential negative definitions fail here, but what if we discover Jesus had a definition of ‘religion’ that he invites us to embrace? What if that religion was intended to be the product of said relationship? If you have ever said something like, ‘I’m spiritual, not religious’ or ‘I love Jesus, but hate religion’ this message is for you.
