Local Missions Focus: Our Local Missions focus for May will be collecting items for the Urbandale Food Pantry. These items include pasta, pasta sauce, cereal and peanut butter. You may bring donations anytime in April and place them in the collection bin. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Worship Arts Team Meeting May 30th You are invited to a lunch of connection, vision, and great food! As we step into a new season for our Worship and Technical Arts teams, this gathering is all about coming together as one—sharing a meal, building community, and looking ahead with purpose. Bring a Mexican inspired side/topping to share for our Taco Bar potluck-style fellowship, and come ready to be encouraged, inspired, and informed. We’ll spend time celebrating what God has already done, casting vision for where we’re headed, and introducing some thoughtful changes to help us grow stronger, more unified, and more effective in our roles.
Whether you’re on stage, behind the scenes, or somewhere in between, you are a vital part of this team, and this meeting is for you. We will meet in the community room from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please enter at the back of the building through the community room doors.
Senior Recognition Sunday: We will be honoring high school seniors in our Sunday morning service. Be sure to come that Sunday and show your support. We are so excited about the next chapter of their lives.
VBS Serve Team Meeting Lifehouse is excited to be planning our first VBS event this summer! A VBS serve team meeting is planned for Sunday, June 7th, following the Sunday service, in the KidCREW classroom. The purpose of the meeting to gather all VBS serve team members to walk through expectations fo the week, safety procedures, classroom and check-in flow, and the daily agenda for the even. We want to make sure everyone feels prepared, informed, and confident heading into VBS weekend. Please see Kelsey Schlumbohm for more information.
Next Gen Teen Camp Save the date! We’re excited for summer camp! For so many students, this time has moved their hearts and lives closer in relationship to their Savior. The Holy Spirit moves in powerful ways at church camp! Lifehouse will be attending TEEN CAMP #2, June 15th-19th. When you register @ www.imnag.org/teencamp please make sure that you register your student for the correct week and use our GHRID: LifehouseYTH26. Grab an information packet from Dawn to get all the information needed. The packet will give you the breakdown of rates/registration deadlines. The earlier you register, the cheaper the cost!
