Local Missions Focus for July Our Local Missions focus for July will be collecting items for Joppa. These items include men’s underwear sizes 32, 34, 36. Also, shampoo, conditioner, men’s disposable razors and bottled water. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Discovery Class Are you new to Lifehouse? Or, maybe you’ve been around for a while and would like more information about the church or about membership. Discovery Class is the perfect place to find out more about our beliefs, our vision, various ministries of the church, and membership. You are invited to join us on Sunday, August 2 following the service for Discovery Class. A light lunch will be provided. Sons of Thunder Men, you are invited to attend the next meeting for Sons of Thunder on Saturday, August 8th @ 8:30 a.m. in the community room. Sons of Thunder’s focus is to encourage men in personal growth and teach them how to live lives of authentic manhood, as modeled by Jesus and directed by the Word of God. We will share breakfast before the Bible study. Please bring something to contribute to the breakfast.

Local Missions Meeting Our next Local Missions meeting will be Sunday, August 9th, immediately following service in the conference room (approximately 45 min). We'd love for you to join us as we share the vision for the next chapter of local missions at Lifehouse. As we move forward, we want ministries like The Storehouse and Season of Giving to become more than opportunities to collect donations. Our desire is for those efforts to equip and encourage our church family to personally carry Christ's love beyond the walls of Lifehouse and into our community. A great example of this approach is our Freedom for Youth Thanksgiving Meal. We don’t stop at simply collecting food; we use the generosity of our church to intentionally bless, serve, and build relationships with others.
During our meeting, we'll discuss:

• The Freedom for Youth Thanksgiving Meal
• Upcoming Season of Giving projects
• New outreach opportunities, including ideas such as external prayer events and other targeted opportunities to serve those in need

Whether you've been involved in local missions for years or are simply curious about how you can make a difference, we'd love to have you join us. We hope you'll stay after church and be part of the conversation as we seek new ways to love and serve our community together.
