In America, we love to celebrate and extol the virtues of freedom and no there is no greater celebration than our nation's Independence Day (July 4th). As the years go by, it seems we value "independence" more and more as a nation - yet for those who follow Christ, personal independence can actually come into conflict with the responsibilities of freedom.
