Part 1: I Can Do All Things

Most everyone knows and can quote Philippians 4:13, ‘I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!’ It’s become the rallying cry for Christians everywhere hoping to accomplish and achieve great things for themselves. Whether pushing for new professional goals, conquering your fears, or winging the big game, it seems Jesus is here to deliver all victory into your hands – you just need to BELIEVE it and RECEIVE it. Well, at least that seems to be what many think this verse means. But that’s not at all what this snippet from the Apostle Paul’s letter to his friends in the ancient city of Philippi means…at all.
