Part 1: The Unpleasant Truth

There are few underpinnings of Christianity that make people as uncomfortable as the topic of heaven and hell. So much so, that most people like to find creative ways to avoid the topic or to offer their own theories about issues of eternal consequence. The common thought is, ‘If God is so loving, how could there possibly exist such a reality as hell?’ and if so, ‘If God is loving, how could He allow anyone to spend an eternity there?’ These are very good questions, that demand answers.
