Part 3: Show Me

Remember that famous cheesy line from the 1996 film, Jerry Maguire? (Ok, you are thinking, which cheesy line as there were several). The one where Cuba Gooding Jr. shouts, “show me the money!”. In the film he was the football player pushing his agent to deliver action, not mere words. In the famous letter written by the Apostle James, he essentially demands the same evidence must exist in our declaration of faith – actions must back up the words (or confession). He declares, ‘I will show you my faith by what I do’. This letter, and his example, speaks volumes as to how we should live out our faith today.
