Part 4: The 'S' Word (Servant)

At the very end of Jesus ministry, in light of the miracles, after His words of wisdom and life-changing lessons, one thing remained. To demonstrate to His friends what real love and leadership looked like. Jesus does something so unexpected, it left even his truest of followers feeling awkward and stumbling over their words. Jesus, puts on the servant's apron, rolls up his sleeves, and proceeds to do the lowest of low tasks that anyone in the room could do: lovingly wash the stink and filth off of his friends feet - something only the lowest of servants might do. He puts an end to all the arguments about being the greatest, and He gives us all the greatest lesson ever witnessed. He shows us what a Servant-Leader does.
