Part 21: Compassion Never Clocks Out

Like many of us, when tired and then confronted with bad news, Jesus sought to take a moment away from his work and the crowds for rest, reflection, and refueling. However, upon reaching his desired ‘quiet place’, he was confronted with yet another massive crowd and more pressing needs of people. Here we learn that with Jesus, his compassion and provision never fail. We also learn that he invites those who follow him, to take personal ownership in the actions of meeting the needs of others.
