This past Sunday, we gathered to honor mothers—but more than that, we commissioned women. Because in this cultural moment, when so much is being said about women, it’s time we hear more from godly women.
The message —Battle Lines: Her Home, Her Church, Her World—was born out of a deep burden to remind every woman in the church: you were not made to sit on the sidelines. You were made to engage.
From the very beginning, God crafted woman as an ezer—a helper in the same way God is our help. That’s not passive; it’s powerful. It means that in your home, you have been divinely equipped to nurture, protect, and lead. And when the enemy draws near, like Deborah and Jael, you are empowered to take action—sometimes with boldness that surprises even you.
But it doesn’t stop there. The church needs your prophetic voice. Women like Miriam, Anna, and Mary didn’t stay silent—they proclaimed truth, prayed boldly, and declared the promises of God. And still today, the church needs spiritual mothers who pray, lead, disciple, and speak with wisdom and grace.
And finally, we can’t avoid the battle in the public square. The enemy isn’t subtle anymore. He’s coming after the very institutions God created—marriage, family, truth. And it’s time for courageous women to step into that space with conviction, clarity, and compassion.
So whether you're a mom of five, childless by circumstance, or single and serving—this calling is for you. You matter in the mission of God. And the world desperately needs your voice.
Let’s rise. Let’s engage. And let’s do it together.
